Growing up in an altruistic family in Almonte, Ontario, Linda has been keenly interested in all things creative from a young age. Discovering Alcohol Inks in early 2017 led Linda on an adventure of learning about this dynamic and unique medium. Although self taught, Linda has participated in numerous online and in person Alcohol Ink and Resin Courses with well known Canadian and American trailblazing artists in this relatively new art form. After retiring to Lapasse, Ontario on the shores of the Ottawa River, Linda started painting daily, garnering inspiration from her natural surroundings for her landscapes, florals and abstracts. Linda, an Alcohol Ink Art Society Member says, “teaching AI classes allows me to share my passion and be a positive influence in the lives of my students. Allowing yourself to be  free and surrendering to the flow and uncertainty of the inks, is both soul soothing and exhilarating at the same time. I hope you will come and experience the joy of Alcohol Inks with me in a class”.

Linda and I have chosen a beautiful piece for your feature project:

You will create a 5×7 similar to this one and go home with it matted and ready to frame.  You will also create 2 or 3 small 4×6 landscape pieces you can take home unmatted to do with as you wish.  As part of the class Linda will also give instruction and practice on how to work with and manipulate the inks before you even begin your project.  Linda is very easy to work with and does amazing work, I know you will love her!

This class will be offered Wednesday February 20th at 2pm and 630pm.  Cost is $45 plus tax.  Space is limited.  Your seat is confirmed when payment is received.  Please call the store or message to save your space.
