As promised, the details on the pencil crayon workshop! I’ve finally been able to get artist Amie Talbot scheduled. It was hard to coordinate with the two of us last year, but now things have worked out and she will be travelling to Pembroke on Saturday June 8 to teach a colouring technique workshop.
Amie is a self taught artist but you would never know it from the images on her site that she’s created. She will bring the paper and pencils needed to walk you through a simple drawing and the colouring technique to bring that drawing to life. Amie uses prisma scholar pencils for class but her techniques can be applied to any pencil you are using in your colouring. As Amie said herself in our conversation “the pencils themselves don’t make your drawing remarkable. It’s the techniques and skills that do.”
So come and join us and let’s you get you colouring your stamped images, drawings, whatever it is you colour, up to another level!
This class will be held at the French Cultural Center in Pembroke at 303 James Street.
Saturday June 8 11am – 12:30pm
Cost $40 plus tax
