Happy almost fall!  This is my absolute favourite time of year.  The crisp nights and changing colours are the best.  THE BEST! The best fall time trip I’ve ever taken was the Agawa Canyon Train tour.  If you’ve never been I highly recommend it.  I finally checked that trip off my bucket list when my daughter was 5 months old.  She was a real trooper on that trip. These photos are from that trip, hope you like them!  If we had been able to go one week later the colours would have been even more stunning.

So what’s on the go for September at that shop?  Well, September 11 is Double Stamp Day.  Great way to fill your rewards card faster!  A back to school sale is on September 11, 15 and 16.  Be sure to stop in those days and get yourself something shiny new because it’s not always about the kids right?

There are two card kits being offered this month.  One is Christmas themed and the other features your favourite beverages.  I’m still trying to figure out how to make classes occur while still adhering to all the COVID rules.  I have a few ideas in the works but I will keep you posted if they develop past more than just an idea.  Until then, the kits will be available and I’m keeping them easier for you to do at home without too many tools.  I think I may do a more technique based card soon and maybe do it as a video.  I have lots of ideas on the go but of course they don’t always work out.  Stay with me though!  I’m working on it.

I didn’t include a technique this month but instead chose to showcase the Tonic Magazine for you.  If you haven’t seen the video please go check it out on the facebook page or in another post on the blog.

Sadly, the decision was made to cancel this year’s Sudbury crop.  I don’t think I have to explain to you the reasons why but it’s a bit too difficult to try to attempt at this time.  I will hopefully be able to bring back this event next year so stay tuned.

While we are on the topic of crops, there is also one due to be held locally October 3.  I still have not heard back on what rules would be in place at the venue or if we can even still have the space.  While it’s not official yet, I do think this crop may be cancelled as well 🙁   For those that had paid to attend, I am working on something special for you just in case.  Just hang in there and I will be updating definitely in the next few weeks.

School is about to start back up and hopefully once we get our groove and see how things will shake down I can add more hours for you.  Keep checking but you know you can always reach out to me and arrange a private visit if my hours don’t work for you.  The best way to do that is to send me a facebook message, especially if it’s short notice.

I hope you are all safe and well.  Try not to let anxiety over the state of the world get to you.  I know it’s hard, but do your best to find your escape and live your life because ultimately, you are still here and you still have people that love you.  Life indeed does go on.  Together we will get through it.

Cards and coffee,

Beth
